Works Carried Out: Construction of New Island Using Floating Equipment

Using 3.5m long light galvanized steel piles an island was reformed working from floating craft.

The backfill material for the island was transported from a loading area by barge and unloaded using a long reach 360° excavator.

The island was finished off using reed rolls erected over the sheet piles.
