Aside from our main stream excavating activities, we have the capability to adapt to unusual environments. Our suction dredgers can pump up to 150m² per hour of silt or other water-borne solids from 3m depths for a distance of up to 2 miles. Fish life is unaffected by this process with a 200mm pipeline, which can be laid through arkward or sensitive environments with little disruption or difficulty.
For river and canal work we have designed and constructed floating platforms of all shapes and sizes. We cater for other difficult situations such as grab diggers, extending dipper arms, draglines and headings as a normal part of our service.
